This fall we are going behind the scenes of Survivor and becoming Game Designers and Builders. Participants will recreate actual games, challenges, and puzzles from the reality adventure show, Survivor. Some of these are large and straightforward, while others are complex and layered. Working together, they will be able to problem solve and bring each challenge to life and then test it! At the end, they can put them together to make one amazing obstacle course!

Turn your smartphone into a creative tool! Participants will explore photography through creative challenges, games, outdoor photo walks, and real-world projects. They’ll learn how to capture great compositions, use lighting, experiment with angles and perspectives, tell stories through images, and edit photos to make them stand out.
No expensive camera required! Participants simply bring a smartphone or tablet with a camera and their imagination.

We’re so excited to launch our newest after-school group: Cozy Gaming! This group is designed to be a chill, creative, and connection-focused space where kids can unwind, socialize, and practice meaningful social skills while sharing common cozy gaming interests, such as Animal Crossing. Kids are welcome to bring their own Switch or tablet. Some skills we will build upon while playing are; cooperative play, flexibility, problem solving and turn-taking. The Cozy Gaming Club is the perfect mid-week reset full of support, relaxing and fun. We can’t wait to welcome everyone!

Participants get to dream up wild ideas, create characters, write scripts, grab a smartphone or tablet, and make their own short films from start to finish.
They will get to take on different roles—director, writer, actor, camera operator, sound designer, and editor—as they turn creative ideas into original movies. Each project is a chance to experiment, have fun, and discover what it takes to tell a great story on screen. Whether students want to make a comedy, mystery, adventure, horror, documentary, or something completely original, this will give them the chance to bring their ideas to life.

The ACN is back! Each week, students will use a wide range of tools and skills to produce a news-style video highlighting updates and events happening around The Accord School and Accord Center. We also hope to introduce new segments and "commercials" this year! Videos are shared every Friday afternoon on our social media.

All-aboard! The new Accord Center Train Club has arrived at the station. Thanks to many wonderful donors, we have tons of trains, tracks, and set pieces to build our own world of trains. The first part of the Train Club will be spent exploring the trains, designing a train table, and even helping build a room to house everything. Then, we begin assembling! This is an exciting new era at the Center!

Young creators step into the shoes of master game designers to dream up, craft, and test an immersive escape room from scratch. Bringing these interactive worlds to life combines clever set design, STEM engineering, and sneaky puzzle logic to captivate players from the second they step inside. Teams will need to unlock high-powered collaboration, sharp problem-solving, and wild creativity as they build an epic, thrilling adventure together!

A monthly opportunity for kids to gather, play, relax, and have fun. Participants are broken into two groups of similar age peers, and participate in a perfect blend of structured active games (Nerf battles, laser tag, massive hide & seek), then transition to laid-back activities like arts & crafts, LEGOS, and online gaming (Mostly Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and Jackbox games). Pizza, cookies, and water are offered.

This monthly event, open to high school students and young adults, is a perfect chance to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones while going out in the Accord van and enjoying evenings at the beach, the movies, playing mini golf, grabbing a pizza, and more.

Saturday Chill and Fun is a day for you and your kids to unwind. Drop them off for hours of games, crafts, and creative fun while hanging out or making new friends. They can play recess and other group games and challenges, including kickball, pickleball, obstacle course, hide-and-seek, and many more. Or maybe they want to imagine with Legos and marble runs or craft with a wide variety of materials, play board games, or spend dedicated time playing Minecraft or Cozy Gaming. And to set that Saturday chill mood, old classic Saturday morning cartoons will be running in the background. On the nicer days, we may explore the woods and trail behind the Center. A full cereal bar or pancakes, as well as snacks, will be available each morning.

Accord has always strived to make programming accessible. To increase accessibility to all families, we are introducing tiered pricing, which allows participants to choose the price that best suits their financial situation.

Tier B is the basic cost for the programming and is what you would have seen before tiered pricing.

Tier A is 15% above Tier B, and enables families to give back to the programs and further increase accessibility.

Tier C is 15% below the basic cost of Tier B.
