6:00-8:00, Teens, Young Adult, Families
Are you in high school and starting to wonder what your next step is going to be? Is college on your horizon? Are you considering entering the WOW -world of work- or the military? Then this talk is for you! Navigating the what’s next?.... starts with figuring out what are your passions, your interests, and what delights you.
This is your spike.
Are you the next big movie director, novelist, environmental specialist, stock market analyst, sports manager, or actor? Finding your spike helps point you in the right direction and puts you on the path to show colleges or future employers your commitment and passion. Kara Cella, MEd, will discuss the college application process and how it’s never too early to start planning and discovering your spike. In fact, it’s better to start early. We will also discuss how finding your spike is a transferable skill that will help you in searching for an internship, job, or volunteer position. Come with questions and hopefully leave with some recommendations and ideas.
